So real estate agents suck. Even when you think you picked a good one, there is always something that will annoy you about them, i.e. only giving you a couple of hours notice for bringing someone around to look at the house.
The one I have at the moment, hasn’t even been taking most of the open homes she has organised. But on the positive side, I actually got to meet the agent that sold another house of mine about 2 years ago. He was alright. But then I didn’t really have to deal with him all that much.
And what is with the buyers at the moment? Ok, so the house isn’t a mansion, but its worth a hell of a lot more than you can be bothered offering. Especially only a year ago we almost sold it for 40 grand more than what you offered! There is no way that the house has lost that much in a year.
But hopefully we’ll get a decent offer soon. It would be great to move on from the place we’re in. Its a new era, so a new place will make it good.

Ok, so I went to student health today, as I had a little accident on Sunday night (I missed the bottom stair in the hallway and ended up going head-first into the wall). My neck went crunch, and ended up having a headache all night, and on and off since. My neck is sore in places when I turn my head in some ways, so I thought I would get it checked out just in case.
I got a female doctor today, the other doctor that I have seen is only in on Wednesdays and Fridays. As soon as this woman (who looked in her late 30s maybe) showed me into her office I felt really uncomfortable. It is hard to explain, but her de-meaner just got me on edge. It was like I could feel her thinking that she was so much better than me because she was a doctor. And that she was not interested at all in me as her patient. She just wanted to get things over with as quickly as possible. And any smile or interest she showed just seemed fake.
I don’t care how long she studied, or how hard, there is nothing that gives her the right to make me feel belittle by just body language and facial expressions. She knows nothing about me. I guess I am judging her back, but at least it wasn’t instantly on my behalf.

Hello to whomever reads this.
I gave up work over a year ago to help look after my partners 4 kids while they became accustomed to him being away from home when he got a job where he’s away 15 hours a day 5 days a week.
I previously worked in hospitality for 6 years and I’m really over it, and I’m wanting to get into something else, like customer services, retail, admin or something like that.
Apparently its a huge probem trying to get into another industry even though hospitality gives experience in a whole bunch of stuff relevant to other industries. Mainly, Customer Services. But it seems to be impossible for me to get a job. I’ve applied for at least 1 or 2 jobs every week since a few months after my partner started his new job.
I’ve changed how I set out my CV, and how I’ve written my cover letters several times and nothing works. Out of the dozens of jobs I’ve applied for I’ve had ONE interview!
I’m polite, friendly, helpful, hard working, dedicated… I don’t know what I’m doing wrong!
I guess it’s true when they say that it’s easier to get a job when you already have a job.
